Our Orphanage near Cabarete is a children's shelter, a "child protection center" an institution responsible for the care of minors, orphans,and abandoned children and children or adolescents who have been separated from their parents by the authorities, depriving them of parental rights. The orphanage has been operating for 16 years and has 26 children, ages 2 to 18. They have recently lost their funding and are in need of basic food supplies.
